Hummingbird Aboriginal Student Futures (Hummingbird) is a non-profit program, run by the B.C. Aboriginal Child Care Society. Launched in September 2011, the program aims to encourage Aboriginal families across B.C. to plan for their children’s post-secondary education by opening a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). Curve was hired to help build the Hummingbird brand from scratch, including logo, website and program launch.
Curve created a logo, marketing materials and website that carefully reflect the Canadian aboriginal community. We also worked closely with Hummingbird staff to ensure messaging for all items produced was consistent and easy to understand, even developing an online video. The client and advisory team were thrilled with the new design and were eager to get going with the launch of this vital program. Curve also was the go-to agency for the media buy when it came time to tell everyone about the project.
