project description Joni Mitchell's The Fiddle and The Drum is a landmark collaboration between the Canadian songstress and Alberta Ballet's Artistic Director Jean Grand-Maitre. As the ballet quickly earned consideration as a national treasure of expression, it was only suiting that the monumental work open the 2010 Cultural Olympiad. Additional gravity was added to the occasion, as Grand-Maitre was also choreographer for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The webpage, healthyoceans.ca, was developed from the ground-up and heavily optimized to attract individuals who might have missed the traditional media campaign component. The paid component of the online campaign saw use of Google and Facebook advertising tools, as well as banner advertising on select media partner web pages.
